Sarah S. Rama, ESQ., LL.M., founder of Rama Dressage Foundation, Inc., is meticulous in her attention to detail in everything she takes on. As a Young Rider hopeful on a borrowed horse and a trainer that saw something, Sarah developed into an accomplished young dressage rider. Her dream was cut short to move on to the higher ranks as the sport requires a Dressage Schoolmaster mount to be able to qualify up the ranks.
As a working student, Sarah was able to attend dressage clinics with top dressage trainers, including Neil & Cynthia Ishoy of the Canadian Olympic Team, Gwen Stockebrand of the U.S. Dressage Team, Reiner Klimke of the German Olympic Team, and many more. Sarah was exposed at young age to some of the best dressage riders of our time. Now 30 years later, Sarah is going to vicariously realize her dream of becoming a Grand Prix Dressage Rider through the Young Riders of today. Rama Dressage Foundation, Inc. was born to close this gap between Young Riders missing their Dressage Schoolmaster mount.
Sarah hung up her breaches to pursue an international legal career that would take her all over the world. She built her international firm modeled after her worldwide travels from the very first client to an international portfolio of elite international companies and individuals needing to immigrate to the U.S. This takes a certain spirit and tenacity, similar to the spirit of the top Dressage Schoolmaster. At the top level of her legal pursuits, Sarah can redirect this tenacity back to her first passion, to offer Young Riders the opportunity to ride and compete at Grand Prix. Sarah will bring this eminence and vitality that made her a success in the worldwide legal arena to the foundation with her relentless work ethic and attention to detail.
Sarah wants to share her success and access to the elite Dressage Community of Wellington, FL with Young Riders. Through a collaborative relationship with her trainer and coach Mary Ambrose, representing Canada on multiple occasions, and highly accomplished FEI dressage trainer and rider, it was obvious. Sarah needed to create a foundation with its sole focus to offer Dressage Schoolmasters trained under the keen eye of Mary to selected Young Riders to ride and compete. Sarah clicked with Mary immediately in their combined goal to train pure classical dressage putting the needs of the horse paramount over anything. More importantly, Mary's genuineness emanates through her to the horses and students. The trainer that took Sarah as young rider 30 years ago built the skills to become the person she is today. Through the foundation, Sarah and Mary will continue this pursuit of creating prosperous young minds and athletes inside and outside of the dressage arena.
